    카테고리 없음 2020. 2. 29. 15:59

Twice in the last week have received message via Windows Action Center indicating the followingSpyware and unwanted software protection - “Windows Defender and Norton 360 are both turnedoff”, andNetwork Firewalls – “Windows Firewall and Norton 360 both turnedoff”In each case followed steps to activate Norton 360 however personally did not turn off Norton 360 or Windows Defender. In fact would not even know where to turn either off.Why is this happening? Each time I have followed instructions and turned on Norton software. Have contacted Norton and they have indicated the following from online chat.Juned: Paul, I would like to inform you that this is the ongoing issue with Windows 8 operating system. Not only Norton but if you install any other anti virus on your computerthe 'Action Center' will show off for the latest Windows 8 operating system.

You have to contact Microsoft to fix the issue you are facing with Action Center.FYI, I do not use home connection but use wifi from local library for internet access 100% of the time. Also have seen multimedia devices showing up on occasion when opening devices and drivers in control panel.

I deletethem when I see them also have no idea how they get there. Is there are solution to prevent this from taking place again?Thank you. Hi Joan,Thank you for posting this question on Microsoft Community Forums.I see that Windows Firewall and Norton 360 both turn off randomly.I understand the issue and will point you in the right direction to resolve it.Try these methods and check if the issue is resolved:Method 1: Disable any one firewall.Norton 360 has an in-built firewall. This may be conflicting with Windows Firewall. Disabling any one of them might resolve the issue.Refer to the following link to learn how to disable Windows Firewall.Windows Firewall from start to finishMethod 2: Scan for Viruses.I would suggest you to scan your computer withMicrosoft Safety Scanner, which would help to get rid of viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free-to-download security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software.Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.Important: While scanning the hard drive if any bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair that sector, any data available on that might be lost.Method 3: Re-register WMIUTILS.DLL file.Follow these steps to do so:a.

On the desktop, press Windows key + R to open the Run Dialog.b. Typeregsvr32 /u WMIUTILS.DLL and press Enter.c.
